Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the payment terms, cancellation conditions, and refund procedures for all shuttle and transfer services provided by Shuttle Services Cape Town.
By confirming a booking, the client agrees to the terms set out below.
1. Payment Terms
To secure any booking with Shuttle Services Cape Town, the following payment structure applies:
1.1 Deposit Requirement
A 50% deposit fee is required to confirm and secure your booking.
Bookings will only be confirmed once the deposit has been received and cleared.
1.2 Outstanding Balance
The remaining balance must reflect in our account at least 3 days prior to the scheduled itinerary date.
Failure to settle the outstanding balance within this timeframe may result in cancellation of the booking.
2. Cancellation Policy
We understand that travel plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair while protecting operational scheduling commitments.
2.1 Cancellation Within 48 Hours
If a booking is cancelled within 48 hours prior to the scheduled service date, the client will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking amount.
This fee covers vehicle allocation, driver scheduling, and operational costs already incurred.
2.2 Cancellation More Than 48 Hours in Advance
If the booking is cancelled more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled date, the client will not be liable to pay the 50% cancellation fee.

Refunds, where applicable, will be handled as follows:
Refunds will not apply in cases where services have already been rendered.
4. No-Show Policy
If a client fails to appear at the agreed pickup location and time without prior notice, it will be treated as a last-minute cancellation, and the 50% cancellation fee will apply.
For airport transfers, reasonable waiting time is provided. Extended delays without communication may result in cancellation charges.

We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate itinerary changes. However:

For long-distance transfers (such as Garden Route transfers) or custom itineraries, additional cancellation terms may apply if accommodation, permits, or special arrangements have been secured.
These terms will be clearly communicated in writing at the time of booking.
